I've had a Web site since around 1996 (cringe!)- shortly before the www exploded and went mainstream. It's had various different designs over the years.

I've never claimed and never would claim to be any good at Web design - I'm pretty useless with such things. This is just a place to call home and keep things. I like simplicity. KISS.

I've pretty much retired from life online over the past few years. I used to be a prolific poster on a number of different fora and Web sites. When I first hooked my 9600bps modem up in the '90s, there was this concept of being part of communities online. I don't think community really comes into it anymore. I was a part of the AOL community in the mid-nineties and a member of Facebook for several years. Both were "social networking" based concepts... read more...   

My sincere thanks to Sam Hill for donating some of his server space to make this site a reality. I've got to know Sam virtually over the past 6/7 years or so and it's been an absolute blast. A pub meeting is long overdue!
